galerie lange + pult was founded in 2003 by Céline Lange and Stefano Pult in Auvernier, between the shores of the lake and the vineyards of Neuchâtel. Immersed in this idyllic setting, the gallery acts as a point of contact between regions, generations and bold practices. Boldness is also what drives the two gallery owners to expand. In 2007, they opened a space in Zurich’s mythical LöwenbräuAreal, where they remained for twelve years, aligning themselves with the spirit of a culturally rich city and confronting their program with some of the world’s most important galleries.

In 2019, the gallery relocates to Zurich’s Rämistrasse, between the Kunsthaus and its new extension, and the legendary Kronenhalle. The area is now the beating heart of Zurich’s art scene. In a new two-storey space, the gallery is enjoying a new expansion, confirming its attachment to Switzerland’s cultural capital.

In September 2023, the gallery opens a third location in Geneva, on the famous Rue des Bains, between the MAMCO and the Musée d’Ethnographie.

With its commitment at the crossroads of regions and generations, galerie lange + pult has drawn a line in its artistic representation with a fervent attraction to abstract minimal, neo-pop and conceptual art, with a particular enthusiasm for geometric, experimental and three-dimensional vocabulary.
